We are honored to be one of the Centers for Spiritual Living offering a Practitioner Study Program leading to licensing as a CSL Practitioner.

This program is designed for those who feel called to deepen their spiritual practice and serve others through prayer and spiritual support.

Program Overview:

  • Begins each fall
  • Includes two years of study
  • Available after completing required CSL Certificated Classes

Prerequisite Coursework

Before entering Practitioner Studies, students are required to complete a set of Certificated Classes. These courses are offered on a rotating two-year schedule at the Center.

All prerequisites must be completed unless a variance is approved by the CSL Spiritual Development Education Department.

Course Requirements

A total of six (6) courses are required across the following categories:

I. Foundational Coursework (Choose 1)

  • Foundations of the Science of Mind
  • Spiritual Principles and Practices

II. Ernest Holmes Philosophy

  • The Essential Ernest Holmes

III. History & Philosophy(Choose 1)

  • Exploring Roots
  • Ancient Wisdom and Science of Mind

IV. Consciousness Studies (Choose 2–3)

  • Creative Process in the Individual
  • Power of Your Word
  • Practical Mysticism
  • Self-Mastery: The Emergence of the True Self
  • Mental Equivalents
  • Revealing Wholeness (Spirit, Mind, Body)

V. Consciousness Electives

If only two courses are taken from the Consciousness category, one additional Certified Class may be selected as an elective.

Professional Practitioner Studies: Term 1 of 3 (virtual class)
10 weeks; Tuesdays, September 15 - November 17, 2026; 6PM - 9PM

The Professional Practitioner Studies Course is a Mastery Level Course.  It focuses on the consciousness, skills, and responsibilities of the Practitioner, and the relationship of the Practitioner to the Principles we teach, to the client, to the process in healing, to the Spiritual Center, and to the community and to the world.  Term One focuses on the consciousness behind the condition in major areas of life.
