DESCRIPTION:Belonging Comes First:\nA Radical New Approach to Community\nPr
esented By: Rev. Dr. David Alexander\nWhat if belonging were the starting
point for community rather than the reward for fitting in? Diversity bring
s different people into the room. Inclusion invites participation. Belongi
ng asks whether people can bring their full humanity into that room and he
lp shape what happens there.\nRev. Dr. David Alexander explores a spiritua
l truth with practical consequences: we belong to one another before we ag
ree with one another. Drawing on the New Thought vision of Oneness\, he as
ks what it would take to build a community where welcome becomes relations
hip\, participation becomes shared purpose\, and mistakes become opportuni
ties for repair.\nMusic with Aliah Dolan and the Friends Band
