Talk Title: "Radical Listening — Fostering Cross-Cultural Connection"
Communication is a science. Culture studies is another science. As such it's possible to develop methods that ensure results - even when the people involved are totally different, in language, in appearance, and in expectations. A shared consciousness is the key. Rev. Dr. Ruth Miller integrates her undergraduate work in culture studies and master's degree in the "science of communication" with her understanding of consciousness and metaphysics to explain and explore new ways of Listening that can change our experience of the world.
